Vex Robotics Guidelines
- Any team interested in competing at the Texas TSA VRC and IQ State Contest MUST register their VEX TSA team at www.robotevents.com. Registration is free, but all teams must have a TSA Vex team number. For help registering your teams please use this video.
- Deadline for registering teams is February 1, 2022. No late registration is permitted! You MUST have a TSA VEX team number for each competing robot to be able to register for this event at state contest.
- There are spots reserved for 2 Teams per Chapter.
- Please visit this page for the latest information on the schedule for the Texas TSA VEX Contest.
- Advisors and contestants should check the Texas TSA website often for changes. Advisors only may contact Emily Gresham at vex@texastsa.org with questions concerning the VEX Robotics Contest at the Texas TSA State Contest.

While the contest will be shaped by the number of teams registering, the rules and guidelines in the 21/22 Tipping Point Game Manual. If there are 15 or fewer teams registered, the VEX VRC Skills contest rules will be followed. If more than 16 teams register, a tournament will be run and the top 10 teams from the tournament will participate in an interview. - All teams are required to have a TSA Vex Team number (this is NOT your chapter number, and it is NOT your VRC robotics team number). You can register for this team number free of charge at robotevents.org - Conference competition dress code must be followed to compete. |
